For Fun...

I am adding these pics only because I told my sister in law that I would... I have a blog for my photography but I still (after a year) have yet to post anything to it.. HAHA!

I seriously think this is one of the cutest families! They all compliment eachother so well and their kids are absolutely adorable!! Thanks again Colby!

10 Weeks Left..

Its official.. I only have ten weeks left and the little bundle of joy will finally be here!!! YEAH!

Everything is going great! The doctors tell me I am right on track. She is getting so big and strong tho... Its crazy when you can see her move and then my whole stomach transforms.. LOL. Her kicks are getting stronger which I guess is a good sign even tho sometimes it can be a bit uncomfortable. Logan thinks I am crazy when I tell him how funny she is... but she has a routine that she follows almost daily, you can rub my stomach and its like it tickles her or something... cuz she gets all wiggly, when you talk about her and say her name she moves around.. (maybe its just a coincidence..), for some reason she wiggles a lot when I listen to Carrie Underwood (Logan thinks that its because she hates country lol... ). In the mornings when I am driving to work she starts to wiggle around 7:15 almost on the dot every day... So I always tell her good morning :). I think she has a little personality already and I can't wait for her to get here!!

Last Saturday my mom and I went on a fabric hunt to make a quilt and bumper pad. OH MY.. we found the cutest stuff at Pine Needles at Gardner Village. My mom is coming down this Saturday to help me make it... and I can't wait! Her room is going to have a lot of vibrant colors in it.

Rhogam 101

So on Monday I went to the lab at Utah Valley to get my rhogam shot... DUn DUn Dunnnn

Keep in mind that I was just there the Friday before to get my blood drawn for the diabetes test and the nurse must have hit a muscle or something because my arm has never hurt to bad in my life!! lol. So I was a little hesitant to go back...

I check in at the lab and they send me to the 4th floor...

The nurse takes me back asks me a few questions about my history and the baby and then she says "I am gonna need you to lean over the bed"

WHAT?!?! Who says things like that??

I looked at her with shock and said "Where on earth are you planning on sticking that needle!?!?" I honestly thought she was going to give me the shot in my BUTT!!! OUCH... that would hurt.

She kind of gave me a funny look... which didn't help at all... But then she laughed and said she was gonna give me the shot in my hip.

Sigh oh relief... AHHH

I got a shot for the very first time in my hip... what an experience.

I would recommend that all shots be given there because it didnt hurt at all and the muscle didnt get nearly as sore as getting shots in the arm.. :)

So here is the baby blanket that I made a couple weeks ago! This was my first time EVER running a sewing machine.. its pretty evident when you look at the blanket up close haha! I still love the blanket even tho it is full of flaws... I guess we could say it gives it a little personality! ; )

22 weeks pReGo

So here I am at 22 weeks... Sticking straight out! LOL. I think that this picture makes me look smaller than I actually am. I am still not really diggin' the maternity clothes... but this green shirt is from Shade maternity and its pretty comfy :). I am still in my regular jeans and I am determined to stay there.. LOL

Speaking of maternity clothes... I need to find a cute.. maybe off white dress to wear to my brothers wedding in March. We are going to be in Florida so the weather will be warm. Please let me know if you see any cute maternity dresses or other dresses that I might fit in to. I have less then 6 weeks... so girls I need your help!!

Logan and I bought our crib! Hip Hip Hooray!! When it comes I will post pictures because it is absolutely adorable and just what I wanted. I still haven't really decided what I want to do with the nursery. I am in love with doing a bali safari look (teal, green, brown and maybe some plum) but at the same time I want to do hot pink, black and white... lol. With lots and lots of zebra print! Logan thinks I change my mind too much... which he is probably right. Ok, no he is right!!

Its a GIRL!!!

I know it has been over a week since we have found out... But we are having a GIRL!!! Hooray for little girls. Here are some of the ultrasound pictures from the doctors office. She was so fun to watch and she was definitely working the camera... :) If you look closely at the profile picture it almost looks like she smiled. You can see her lips, nose and chin! Awe so cute! She was opening and closing her hands for us and wiggling her feet. It was so amazing to watch her move around. She is healthy and everything seems to be growing in the right spots. I think she likes it when I eat popcorn and oranges because she really gets going... Its bad when I am sitting at my desk laughing at what looks like nothing. :) Let me know if you have any questions. i will try to post more soon. Life is too busy sometimes! Love you all!

this and that

A lot has changed since I last posted a blog. October has come and gone... and now we are half way thru November!! And Christmas is almost here. Where did the days go??

The end of october and beginning of Nov we went to Florida to shoot a friends wedding, visited family, slept A LOT, and of course there was great food! It was absolutely amazing. We went to some haunted houses on halloween and my sister dressed up like joker from the latest batman and she did an amazing job on her costume! Logan went surfing with my brother and his nips got slightly rubbed raw... lol. We have been home and I dont really know what we have been doing but I know we have been busy.

So while we were in Florida my belly bump came out. Apparently I am not going to carry in my back.. so I guess I am lucky in a way... Now I just get to deal with the comments and the looks :). I still havent gained weight... but i know those days are going to end. Probably sooner then later.

I went shopping with my mom yesterday and while we were out and ab0ut we decided to wander into a maternity store... WHO DESIGNS THAT STUFF?!? I was not happy with what i saw. Maternity pants scare me and they were soooo short! The shirts were all the same and to be honest ( and I guess I am being a brat) I just do not dig maternity clothes. LOL. So we wandered into a couple other stores and I am starting my own maternity fashion! The shirts I got are absolutely adorable and I will be able to wear them for most of my pregnancy. So watch out world...

We go to our second Dr appt Tuesday and I am excited! Well except to give blood again... Hopefully I get a different nurse. WiSh mE lUcK!

My Pitty Party

So I never knew how hard being prenant was actually going to be. Let me just say that my whole life just changed. Ya last night I went to bed at 8 and slept until 8:30 this morning... YES people that is 12.5 hours of sleep.... and the sad thing is that I was ready for a nap at about 1 today. Fortunately for me I am not nauseous or anything... I just dont want to eat because nothing ever sounds good. My appetite is gone! I cried today after I got on the scale ... and I havent gained any weight :) I have actually lost weight. So my emotions are thru the roof and the whole not being able to eat anything is devastating! My mom called today and she told me that I have to stop throwing myself pitty parties... oohh... Its hilarious! LOL. My poor hubba bubba... I think I would hate to have to put up with myself right now. :)

We had our first doc appt last Tuesday and everything looks good and normal. Lets pray that it stays that way. And hopefully my appetite comes back sometime soon cuz I cant do the whole no food thing for another 7 months haha.

The Office

So we finally moved offices at work... (well last week) But I am so exhausted from this move. I dont know what my deal is. This last weekend I didn't get anything accomplished because I kept moping around and I couldn't focus.

Things are definitely different here at our new offices and if you watch "the office" that is SOOO what it reminds me of and I am debating on playing some pranks on some of the staff... lol.

I had a photo shoot on Friday and my friend Amy came to my rescue. Shooting a family of 50 was so fun... Thanks so much for the opportunity! Then we went to dinner and ice cream... Maggie Moos here we come! Saturday was fun. I went to Ikea with one of my favorite people.. Chi Chi Valdez and then we all went to dinner at Winggin It! Then of course we watched the office for the rest of the weekend... well pretty much.

I definitely think I can get use to working 4 tens. It will be very nice to have that extra day for shoots and everything else. Wish me luck and pray that my body will get used to working these long hours... lol!!
